Cassie is an urban planner in Houston, by way of Brooklyn, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle. She leads the Planning & Economic Development team for a redevelopment authority and nonprofit, collectively known as Downtown Houston+.
Her past work includes shaping public spaces and community grant opportunities for San Francisco, tending to community gardens with the Brooklyn Queens Land Trust, partnerships with the Exploratorium and design and policy research with cityLAB at UCLA.
She is a volunteer board member with Small Places, the nonprofit behind her neighborhood farm, Finca Tres Robles.
